A new workshop, another event on gastric cancer in a worldwide overlapping series of webinar and symposia; what can it be the added value of this event?
Why could it be interesting to undergo so much effort inside a medioeval fortress far from our institutions?
Because we are fully convinced that this is a new border of the gastric cancer treatment and the great advances in target and immunotherapy along with the conviction of the multidisciplinary will reach an extraordinary innovation in our clinical practice.
Our conviction, on this demanding problem is that only a face to face multidisciplinary effort will reach some results and we are happy to welcome you all at the 2 days congress in Bertinoro on November the 11/12 when we’ll present conclusions of an expert multidisciplinary workshop held the day before by several invited European and worldwide experts.
The aim is defining what it is necessary to introduce in the clinical practice in terms of diagnosis and staging, which are the integrated treatment strategies for which there is sufficient evidence and finally, how to plan the subsequent clinical research to obtain evidence where we do not yet have it.
The meeting will focus on the selective presentation of the available evidence on the oncological benefit of innovative as well as integrated treatments.
During the second day the experts, will meet the local specialists to discuss ongoing protocols and research studies. This will allow a comparison between the various realities and, why not, a basis for future collaborations.

The Workshop will start on the morning of November 11 and finish late morning of November 12.
