The EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF GENETIC MEDICINE and the EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF HUMAN GENETICS organize the 5th COURSE IN NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING.
Bertinoro di Romagna (Italy), May 4-7, 2016

Abstract:
This course aims to give students insight into the use of next generation sequencing technology for genetic studies in humans. Aimed at researchers and diagnostics personnel with a background in genetics, biology, biomedical & molecular sciences and/or computational biology.

Topics:
Next generation sequencing basics: targeted/exome/genome sequencing, data analysis and interpretation, clinical applications.

ESHG Fellowships available
The European Society of Human Genetics offers fellowships covering the registration fee. Applicants for fellowships should submit their request together with CV and a reference letter to jbazzoli@ceub.it

Fees:
The registration fee (560€) includes tuition, course material, and transportation from Bologna airport to Bertinoro on May 3rd / back on May 7th

Accommodation:
Accommodation (35€ per night in double room) is provided at the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro (course venue) or in hotels nearby the center.

Please note that the program begins on the morning of May 4th. It is recommended to arrive to the center on May 3rd, as transportation from the Bologna airport on that date is included.
