Active researchers, academic and industrialists are welcome to participate to the ESBES Downstream Processing Group Workshop Membranes in Bioprocessing which will be held from 8 to 10 May 2016, in the historical city of Bologna, Italy.
The scope of the workshop is to provide insights on the membrane separation processes of interest for the bioprocess industry. The latest innovations of consolidated unit operations, like microfiltration and ultrafiltration, will be covered together with new processes, like nanofiltration for virus and pathogen removal and membrane chromatography which is emerging in the polishing steps of biopharmaceutical manufacturing. In addition, case studies and examples of bioprocess applications will be discussed.
Scientists from academia and industry are invited to submit abstracts of maximum 500 words in pdf format by 15.01.2016. The submission of abstracts proceeds by email at dicam.membranebiopro@unibo.it
