The Universities of Bologna, Milan and Pisa, under the auspices of GRIN, organize an annual school offering graduate-level courses aimed at PhD students in Computer Science. In addition to introducing students to timely research topics, the school is meant to promote acquaintance and collaboration among young European researchers.
The three courses that will be offered this year are:
- Quantum Computing and Software Engineering by Shaukat Ali
- Building Language Models: A Practical Introduction by João Monteiro
- Service Engineering: From Design to Operation by Pablo Fernandez
The registration fee for the School is 700.00 Euro and includes all local expenses from the evening of 18th May to 23th May afternoon including all meals and on-site lodging in double-occupancy rooms.
A reduced registration fee of 400.00 Euro is available for local students which will not use the on-site lodging facilities (it includes local expenses for the lectures, coffee breaks and lunches).
It is possible to require one additional night for the students that want to leave on Saturday the 24th, sending an Email to Monica from the local committee. In this case the additional cost is 50 Euros.
On May 18 the school staff provides a bus service from Forlì railway station to Bertinoro, at 19.30. You can benefit from the same bus service on your departure day, on May 23, at around 14:30, with the bus leaving from Bertinoro to Forlì railway station right after the conclusion of the school.
I advise you to book the bus service at the moment of your registration.
